Description
This Lamborghini was decorated in a special livery for the 2019 WeatherTech SportsCar Championship round at Lime Rock Park to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11. The black and white colour design is similar to those seen on the Saturn V rocket that propelled Neil Armstrong, Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin and Michael Collins to the Moon in 1969 during the landmark space mission. Magnus Racing also raced with number 11, instead of its usual 44 with the team also getting special dispensation to run a black number panel instead of green.
