The Schleich figures are modelled with attention to detail, hand-painted with care, and provide educationally valuable playtime. Quarter horses are extremely fast. Especially over short distances, they can reach breathtaking speeds. They proved this in quarter-mile races in the 18th century, frequently outracing even English Thoroughbreds. Quarter horses were named after these races.
