On February 23rd, 2024 Hawaiian Airlines’ first of twelve Dreamliners on order was welcomed in Honolulu with a special celebration, including a formal Hawaiian blessing. N781HA is named for Kapuahi, a red giant star in the Taurus constellation, known as Aldebaran in Western astronomy.
