The new and innovative Carrera Wireless 2.0 system revolutionizes the racetrack experience with a range of exciting benefits for slot car racing enthusiasts. Wireless technology eliminates the problem of tangled cables, so Carrera drivers enjoy a more convenient and realistic driving experience. The Wireless 2.0 system’s 2.4-GHz radio technology guarantees interruption-free action at ranges of up to 15 meters, as well as a stable connection for unrestricted freedom of movement around the racetrack. The Wireless 2.0 system replaces the previous version wireless contoller’s sensitive lithium batteries with standard (or rechargeable) AAA 1.5-V batteries(sold separately). Wireless 2.0 handheld controller can be operated only with the Wireless 2.0 receiver, thus the previous Wireless+ handheld controller only works with Wireless+ receivers. However, parallel operation is possible if both a wireless 2.0 receiver 20010122 and a wireless+ receiver 20010112 are connected to the Carrera digital control unit. You may not assign the addresses of the vehicles twice.
