Description
In 1967, Braniff International of Texas revolutionized commercial aviation with its radical new livery—or rather, liveries. No fewer than 15 different paint schemes were designed to capture the attention and charm of passengers. This striking red Boeing 727-200 is the first in a new series of Braniff 1:500 scale models. Red would become one of the most popular colors, appearing on no fewer than 17 aircraft, including seven 727 trijets. More colors and aircraft types will follow.
