In 1967, Texas-based Braniff International revolutionized commercial aviation with its radical new color scheme – or rather color schemes: no less than 15 different colors were to attract attention and create more excitement for passengers. The first of a new series of Braniff models are two Boeing 707s in a soft beige (item no. 614023) and a bright lime green (item no. 614009). More colors and aircraft types will follow. Originally designed for inflight sales, the plastic push-fit models of the Herpa Snap-Fit series shine with an attractive finish and a great value for the money. Snap-Fit models are available in the scales 1/100, 1/200 to 1/250, include an elegant display stand, and can be assembled in no time without a drop of glue.
