The Pokémon Company International has unveiled Lost Origin, the eleventh set of the Sword & Shield TCG.
Pokemon and characters from the Hisui region from the video game Pokemon Legends: Arceus will be included in this set, comparable to Astral Radiance. Furthermore, the Lost Zone mechanic has been returned.
Pokémon VSTAR cards, Giratina VSTAR, Aerodactyl VSTAR, Magnezone VSTAR, Drapion VSTAR, Hisuian Goodra VSTAR, Hisuian Zoroark VSTAR, and 1 VMAX card named Kyurem VMAX are all included.
Last but not least, it has been confirmed that Enamorus V and Radiant Gardevoir from the Japanese set Dark Fantasma are in Lost Origin. Hisuian Goodra VSTAR, Magnezone VSTAR & Hisuian Zoroark VSTAR also originate from the Japanese set S10a Dark Fantasma.
The remaining named cards are still unrevealed in Japan and should most likely be included in the next Japanese set S11 Sword & Shield Expansion Pack Lost Abyss.
The Lost Zone mechanic, which was last seen in Sun & Moon – Lost Thunder from 2018, is officially returned. Similar to the discard pile, the Lost Zone contains cards that can’t be retrieved while the game is being played. The artwork on Lost Zone cards, like Giratina VSTAR, will have an ominous aura coming from it.
Additionally, there are “over 190 cards” and the Trainer Gallery subset is back with 30 cards featuring Special Art cards.
Last but not least, a brand-new product called the Sword & Shield – Lost Origin Booster Bundle, which will include a bundle of 6 packs of Lost Origin, has been revealed. The Build & Battle Kit should not be mistaken with this while the product designs are very similar. This set product description mentions it will include:
Over 190 cards
3 brand-new Radiant Pokémon
6 awesome Pokémon VSTAR
14 powerful Pokémon V and 1 enormous Pokémon VMAX
30 cards with special art in the Trainer Gallery subset
More than 15 Trainer cards
