Description

Play around with time!
Put things into the correct chronological order… if you get it right, you’ll get a smile on all the faces! Then there’s the fun lotto game and stories to be made up with your friends.

Three different games in one. The Chronological Order and Lotto games help children to connect time and understand the concepts of before, after and lastly. The Storytelling game provides input cards to spark the imagination and create a host of brand-new tales of their own.
CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER GAME -This game uses the sequence cards with matching coloured bands (three cards with a blue stripe for example) which are put into chronological order on the chrono-board. Laying over the right or wrong strip, if three faces appears then the scene is in the correct chronological order; if not, the order of the cards should be rejigged until the correct sequence is formed. The game continues by sorting the other eight sequences.
MINI LOTTO GAME -Multiple players, each with an equal number of right-wrong strips. Place the scene cards face down on the table. Each child takes a turn to pick a card which goes to the player with the right-wrong strip in the same colour. The first player to complete their sequence wins.
STORYTELLING GAME -Mix up the cards then pick out three (or five) and lay them out on the table in any order, mixing up the colour or chronological order. Encourage the children to make up stories that connect the scenes, letting their imaginations run free. The game can also be played cooperatively: one player picks a card and starts telling a story; the next player then picks a card and continues the story, picking up from where the previous player left off, and so on until the end.
